Meet the Kardashian family bestie, who won over Drake with her dinner-table rendition of 'Hold On, We're Going Home.'
It's not every day you get to eat a meal with Kanye West and Drake. So when 17-year-old Pia Mia was seated right between the superstars during a dinner party, the up-and-coming singer took full advantage of the opportunity."I had no idea Drake was going to be there," Pia told MTV News about an impromptu performance that took place while dining at BFF Kylie Jenner's home a few months back. "I sit down and we're eating our salad and in the middle of eating, Kanye just, like, calls me out and says, 'Drake, you see Pia's got some cool fashion, she's a singer.'"

"It was really nerve-racking because Kim and Khloe [Kardashian] were sitting across from me videotaping," the family friend recalled. "It was a really cool experience. I never thought I'd be able to sing Drake his song, so that was for sure something I'll remember forever."
After impressing two of the biggest names in music — "Drake thought it was dope and Kanye said that he thought it was really good too," she said — Kim introduced Pia's powerhouse voice to her army of follower by uploading the footage to Keek. More than 1 million views and 40,000 likes later, Pia is in the studio working on an EP she plans to release Christmas Day.
"It's basically just going to be a little mixtape of a bunch of songs we're just going to give to the fans as a gift."
Among them is her new single "Red Love," — which she premiered Tuesday (November 26) on Ryan Seacrest — a song she wrote from a series of journal entries.
"It's basically a song about when you think you're having your first love and all these things you want to do and you just want to give as much of yourself as you can to that person and then finding out it's not exactly what you thought."
