Biebs posted a snap of it on his Instagram which he later took down, but not before it was shared by an account which appears to belong to the artist - along with the comment "controversial".
The tattoo artist responsible for the work - Canadian Glen Hartless - posted a snap of himself inking Biebs in the star's studio.
He wrote: "Another late night working. Thanks for having me at your studio @justinbieber"..Another pics after the cut....................
