Rihanna named the most streamed female artist in the world .

 

Spotify confirmed that Rihanna topped their global list - which was put  together in light of International Women's Day (March 8) - coming ahead  of Katy Perry and Lana Del Rey, who were in second and third place. In  the UK, Rihanna still topped the list, but was followed by Beyonce and  Katy Perry in second and third position. See the Top 10 most streamed female artists in the world list below...

Meanwhile Rihanna is to record a concept album this year based around DreamWorks'  forthcoming animation 'Home'. Jeffrey Katzenberg, CEO of DreamWorks  Animation, announced the news during the company's quarterly earnings  statement, saying Rihanna, who also stars in the film, will perform new  songs.
