Man Shot Dead His “Nagging” Wife After 56 Years Of Marriage

Jack Lang, 77, is charged with shooting his wife in the head because she was nagging him and "wouldn't shut up."
Via ABC WISN 12:
A 77-year-old Milwaukee County man has told investigators he shot his blind wife of 56 years because she’d been nagging him.
Prosecutors charged Jack Lang of Oak Creek with first-degree intentional homicide Thursday. Authorities said Lang called 911 on Wednesday to say he’d just shot his wife in the face. Police found June Lang dead near the bed.

Jack Lang told police that she had been nagging him for weeks and “wouldn’t shut up”. He said the two had been arguing to and from dinner, and when they got home he had had enough. According to the criminal complaint, Lang got a .22-caliber gun from a nearby bedroom and approached his wife in bed, telling her that he had a gun. Lang said that she did not believe him and continued to complain to him. That was when he fired the gun. The complaint states that he also tried to shoot himself three times, but did not succeed.
