Late Christy Essien-Igbokwe’s husband opens up on his new marriage.

 

So weeks ago i reported that late christy ibokwe's husband has remarried,he got married to a nollywood actress named oluchi phillips,due to this development there have been a lot of trouble in there home,well in a recent interview with HVP,chief ibokwe explained why he decided to remarry&how he met his new young wife..Excerpt from the interview below..........
Why did you remarry;“I thought I could stay alone but I discovered it wasn’t possible.
It would have been terrible if people start seeing different women around me. I wanted a responsible situation and moreover, I want to live longer. My feeling at a point was; what am I still doing here? But we are not God. Life must go on.
On how he met his new actress wife; Igbokwe said, “I knew her father before the civil war. It was after the war that he got married to his wife. She was born after the war.
I also met her mother when her father died. Even when my mother died many years ago, they paid me a condolence visit from their place. That was when her mother introduced her to me. It was my late wife who received them when they visited us in Awka.
She knew her then, but there was nothing between us. I granted an interview where I said ‘there is no way I can get married again,’ but it happened with the passage of time.”....
