Commonwealth Games: NWF Board Member Delighted With Early Camping of Weightlifters

 
Dr. Steve Olarinoye, an Ibadan-based zonal director of the National Sports Commission (NSC) and a board member of the Nigeria Weightlifting Federation (NWF), says he is satisfied with the level of preparation of the nation’s weightlifters ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Scotland.

Olarinoye expressed delights with the commitments of the coaches and lifters participating in the ongoing camping exercise in Abuja.
“The lifters I saw were happy and confirmed to me that they were comfortable,” he said, after monitoring the camping exercise on his visit.

“The coaches are doing a good job and it is an early sign that Glasgow 2014 would be a glorious one for the country.”
Dr. Olarinoye also commended the Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi-led NSC for ensuring early preparation for Nigerian weightlifters ahead of the July 2014 Glasgow Games.
