The son of a senior staff of Nigeria Civil Defence Corps, NCDC,
Ikeji Owolabi, has been arrested and charged with burglary and theft of
property before Ejigbo Magistrate’s Court sitting in Lagos State.
Owolabi was remanded in prison custody when he appeared before the court.
The 24-year old suspect was arrested at 17, Ewa Eweng Street, Idimu, Lagos for allegedly breaking the door of a tenant, Mr Timothy Okorocha, and attempting to cart away his property.

Owolabi told the police at Idimu Division that his father is a senior civil defence officer and has placed a curse on him for an undisclosed offence before throwing him out of their home.
He said that since he left home and relocated to Lagos, his life has not been the same.
Owolabi said before he had problem with his father, he had dropped out of school when he was in JSS3 at Nishiba Grammar School, Idiaraba in Abeokuta , Ogun State, southwest Nigeria.
The suspect said when he left home and relocated to Lagos State, he went to learn how to repair generator but he could not complete the training.
